1 hour me time with yoga… my honest review!
Hey Rajapals! Today, I’m excited to share my first-ever yoga experience at Surya Yoga di Bandar Bukit Raja. As a yoga newbie, I was a bit nervous but also eager to dive into the world of flexibility and serenity.
Suasana
Walking into Surya Yoga, I was immediately greeted by a calming ambiance. Space dia cerah, dipenuhi dengan cahaya semulajadi yang membuat Puteri rasa auto selesa. The soft scent of incense buat rasa relax je, diorang buat environment tu betul-betul untuk kita set mood for a session.
Warm Welcome
Sebelum mula kelas, the instructor, a friendly and experienced woman welcomed me warmly. Dia tanya tentang pengalaman Puteri in yoga and make sure Puteri rasa comfortable. Memang agak reassuring to know that the class catered to beginners like myself. Kitorang start dengan stretching ringan yang memanaskan badan which also helped to set the tone.
Beginner-Friendly Class
The class was specifically tailored for beginners, and I couldn’t be more thankful. Beginner macam Puteri ni memang goyang lah kan dengan position yoga yang susah-susah, tapi instructor tu memang penyabar. Dia beri arahan yang jelas dan alternatif yang membantu kitorang so that takde la rasa challenging sangat. We started with basic poses like Mountain Pose and Downward Dog. The instructor made sure kitorang focus kepada pernafasan, which surprisingly added a calming element to semua movements.
Cabaran Fizikal dan Mental
As the class progressed, I found myself facing a delightful physical challenge. Poses like Warrior and Tree memang perlukan balance and strength, something yang Puteri tak tau pulak kelemahan Puteri. It was a pleasant surprise to discover the connection between the body and mind in yoga. Puteri sedar that yoga ni bukan hanya mengenai keanjalan fizikal, tapi juga kestabilan mental.
Relaxation pose – My favourite!
The highlight of the session was the relaxation pose haha. Baring je atas tikar yoga tu. Puteri tutup mata and just let go of any tension. The instructor guided us through a brief meditation, encouraging us to focus on our breathing and let thoughts come and go. It was a moment of pure relaxation, and for the first time in a while, I felt truly present. Susah nak explain, tapi for a moment, problem Puteri hilang kejap.
Community Vibes
One thing that stood out was the sense of community. Instructor dan classmates Puteri memang support each other. There were moments of laughter when someone wobbled in a pose or when we collectively struggled with a new sequence. Rasa selesa dan freedom membuat Puteri rasa seolah-olah Puteri ni sebahagian daripada komuniti yang lebih besar.
Berseri Selepas Yoga
As the class came to an end, I felt a unique sense of accomplishment. Walaupun baru 1 jam, Puteri dapat merasai kelelahan positif dan semangat yang segar. My body felt more flexible, and my mind, more at peace. Pengalaman ni betul-betul memberi Puteri semangat untuk terus menjalani exercise yoga sebagai sebahagian daripada rutin seharian Puteri.
Surya Yoga – A Hidden Gem
Surya Yoga is truly a hidden gem in Bandar Bukit Raja. Dengan instruktur yang berpengalaman, suasana yang menenangkan, dan kelas yang sesuai untuk beginners, it’s an ideal place for anyone looking to start a yoga journey or just nak exercise for an hour. Puteri keluar dari Surya Yoga dengan rasa bertenaga and it was definitely a good start of the day. Confirm Puteri akan datang lagi!
